The Sitatunga is a swamp-dwelling antelope with a reddish-brown coat and distinctive white vertical stripes, adapted for life in marshes and dense reed beds. Males have spiral horns, while females are hornless. They are excellent swimmers and primarily feed on aquatic plants, reeds, and grasses.
